Can The iPhone Handle Assassin's Creed?

by Reverend_Danger   April 14, 2009 at 8:00PM  |  Views: 104

The iPhone (and iTouch) are stealing a little of the Nintendo DS’ thunder by proving that they’re more than capable of handling a serious handheld game like Assassin’s Creed.

Assassin’s Creed for the iPhone is a prequel to the console game for Xbox and PS3.  You still play Altair, but you’re on a quest for a mysterious artifact called “The Chalice” for your Templar bosses.

IGN has a hands-on and won’t spoil the plot, but they do suggest that some key tidbits are revealed for those gamers who played their way to the end of the console title.

And, the best part, Gameloft will have it for somewhere between $6 and $10.
