Find out about the new Bond girl's hidden secret, why things are getting a little steamy on NHL hockey rinks, and who's lining up for the new Alice in Wonderland movie. It's all after the jump in today's Mantenna!

New Bond Girl is a Freak

The new Bond girl Gemma Arterton has revealed that she was born with an extra finger on each hand. The 22-year-old actress, who plays sexy Agent Field in the highly anticipated Quantum of Solace had the extra digits removed shortly after birth. The only sign of their existence are little scars next to her pinky. Gemma says she is proud of her little oddity and that it makes her different. [Daily Mail]

Meet the NHL Ice Girls

The hockey season is in full swing and there’s finally a reason to watch – Ice Girls. Ice Girls are cheerleaders on skates who clean the ice around the net and benches between TV timeouts. The nice thing about Ice Girls is that they’re hot and actually serve a purpose during the game. This means it’s okay to stare at them without feeling guilty and getting in trouble by your wife/girlfriend. [YesButNoButYes]

Alice in Burtonland

Anne Hathaway is going to round out the cast of Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, along with Burton’s wife Helena Bonham Carter, Mia Wasikowska and Johnny Depp. Hathaway will play the White Queen, Bonham Carter the Red Queen, Wasikowska Alice and Depp the Mad Hatter. Burton better not put Depp in white make up or give him crazy hair. [The Movie Blog]

Cronenberg Meets Ludlum

Director David Cronenberg is going to do an adaptation of Robert Ludlum’s novel The Matarese Circle. The political thriller focuses on two rival spies from the CIA and KGB who must team up with a strange woman to take down a circle of killers called the Matarese. Considering the solid track record Cronenberg has of late – A History of Violence and Eastern Promises – this looks like it will be an original and entertainingly bizarre take on this Ludlum project. We all know how the Jason Bourne trilogy worked out; here’s hoping this one is equally awesome. []

Kanye Gives it to Ellen

Kanye West debuted his new video for “Love Lockdown” on The Ellen DeGeneres Show today, oddly enough. This move has many music fans wondering what the hell he was thinking. Well, it looks like Kayne’s found the untapped daytime TV-watching hip hop-loving demographic. I mean, someone’s gotta keep it real with the soccer moms. [Buzzfeed]

Kill your TV, Watch Debates Online

With televisions increasingly non-linear tendencies, more and more people are forgoing setting aside time from their day to watch their favorite programs.  Many have been using Tivo and similar DVR devices for years, but the point-and-click satisfaction of the interwebs continues to reach its tentacles into and around our media.  Be part of the digital revolution by watching tonight’s presidential debate online. Gmail now with Drunk Email Filter

Released to its Google Labs yesterday, Google’s drunk email prevention system “Mail Goggles” issues a series of simple questions to be answered before it will let you hit the send button.  It only turns on at a given time of day, so you don’t always have to answer math questions, just when it really counts. Ford Readies Mustang Cobra Jet Drag Race Package

Ford Racing has been spotted going through final testing on yet another new Mustang variant, this time the FR500CJ, also known as the Cobra Jet. Powered by a "cobra jet" variation of the 5.4 liter V8 found in the Shelby GT500KR, the raked stance and pizza-cutter style wheels up front seem to indicate this car is made for one sole purpose – going fast in a straight line.
