Prince William Prepares for Bachelor Party

This weekend the future King of England is set to let loose and indulge in his final days of singledom. Yes, Prince William is having a bachelor party, or as the British dub it a “stag night.” According to a royal source, “It's top, top secret but the dates have been marked off in the diary and security knows every detail. For privacy reasons we can't reveal locations, but there will be plenty of booze and some legendary activities.” William’s last night of freedom is likely to be a staid, very British affair. Girls have been banned and there’s no way it will be as raucous or hedonistic as the typical American bachelor party. That said, it’s being organized by William’s hard-partying younger brother Prince Harry. [Us]

The Life Story of the World’s Oldest Cheerleader Set to Hit Screens

At age 42 Laura Vikmanis is the oldest cheerleader in NFL history and now her inspirational life story is set to become a feature film. The mother of two decided to audition for the Cincinnati Bengals cheerleading squad after her husband left her a few years ago. She wasn’t initially successful, but after a year of training she tried out again and made the team. Vikmanis is now an inspiration to her two teenage children and mother-figure to the mostly 20-something cheerleaders she works with. The film will be penned by Gnomeo & Juliet writers Emily Cook and Kathy Greenberg. Cook says, “In her real life, it was easy to find a way into the story. She is a 42-year-old in a sea of 20-year-olds; she's definitely a fish in out of water. It's a great contrast. And she proved you can reinvent yourself at any age.” The film is already being likened to The Blind Side and will probably star Julia Roberts or Sandra Bullock. [The Hollywood Reporter]

Black Swan Double Calls Out Natalie Portman’s Dancing

After an initial report that claimed Oscar-winner Natalie Portman did most of her own dancing in Black Swan, her double on the film, Sarah Lane, is now claiming that the public has been misled about how much real dancing Portman legitimately did throughout the movie. “Of the full body shots, I would say 5 percent are Natalie,” says Lane. “All the other shots are me.” According to press reports, Lane is an American Ballet Theatre soloist who performed many of Swan’s intricate dance numbers. Portman’s face was apparently digitally placed onto her body after the fact. [Gawker]

Tony Bennett Working with Amy Winehouse

You actually heard it right, people. According to reports, legendary singer Tony Bennett will soon be releasing his Tony Bennett: Duets II LP and one of the names on the sing-along list is none other than pop trainwreck Amy Winehouse, A follow-up to his 2006 release Duets: An American Classic, Bennett has also called in the help of Lady Gaga, Carrie Underwood, and Michael Buble for the new recording. There’s no word on which song they’ll be going in on, by I really do hope it has some kind of drug undertone. [NME]
