BMW Concept Wants to Make Commuting SIMPLE

SIMPLE is the acronym for Sustainable and Innovative Mobility Product for Low Energy (consumption), and the concept vehicle attached to that convoluted name promises both incredible fuel economy and an exhilarating driving experience. But does this out-of-this-world mutant concept deliver on that promise?

With a remarkably low wind resistance (.018 drag coefficient), a curb weight off less than 1000 pounds, and seating "comparable to that of a 3 series" BMW's latest concept doesn't have Tie Fighter looks for nothing.

BMW claims this little missile is capable of hitting up to 124mph and has a 0-60mph time of under then seconds - all while maintaining a fuel economy of nearly 120 miles to the gallon. Can this little 3-wheeler live up to those lofty numbers? We'll just have to wait and see if BMW decides to bring concept to reality in order to find out.
