Are The Worst Celebrity Neighbors Really All That Bad?

With so many Americans enamored with the celebrity lifestyle, it's no surprise that many of them fantasize about living next door to Hollywood royalty. For five years, the fine folks at Zillow have been polling America to see who their most and least desired celebrity neighbors might be. And while Tim Tebow topped the latest list as a desired neighbor, it's no surprise that the cast of Jersey Shore were voted least desirable. Who wouldn't want to live next to a bunch of loud, obnoxious partiers who have a tendency to throw anything they can find in the house out into the yard, and bring in random strangers at all hours of the night to have sex with in their smush room? How about Pennsylvania and the entire country of Italy for starters.
The fact that they have a smush room should put up the biggest red flag. The rest of the Top 5 in Zillow's Worst Neighbors of 2011 were Charie Sheen, Lindsay Lohan, Kim Kardashian and Nancy Grace. But that's just based on their wild lifestyles, or in the case of Kim Kardashian, that nasally whine no one would want to hear coming from across the yard at any hour of the day or night as she yelled at her latest fiancee. As long as Nancy Grace puts up soundproof walls so we don't have to hear her ranting and raving, we wouldn't mind her at all.
American fantasy is fun and all, but then there's reality, and Charlie Sheen is apparently proving America right. Radar is reporting that Sheen is back to his partying ways, keeping them rocking until the wee hours of the morning. Things have reportedly gotten so wild that his ex-wife Brooke Mueller suffered a drug relapse at his home and wound up back in rehab.
But not all wild celebrity neighbors are who you might expect. That '70s Show star Wilmer Valderrama's neighbor recently filed suit against him for "loud and disturbing noises," according to TMZ, though disturbing may be overselling it a bit. He described dog and vehicle noises, as well as those associated with loud partying. Even more egregious -- though likely unintentional -- some .work Valderrama was having done on a guest house caused flooding in the neighbor's garage and yard. Chris Brown faced a similar problem with a West Hollywood condo last year, according to Radar, when the neighbors reportedly claimed that he was disrespectful and loud at all hours of the night.
It seems the trend among celebrities is to be loud and disrespectful of their neighbors right to peace and quiet in their homes. In fact, the cast of "Jersey Shore" doesn't act that different than their celebrity counterparts. And while loud and obnoxious partying and disrespectful behavior can be frustrating and annoying, it's nothing compared to what some non-celebs have subjected their neighbors to.
On World's Worst Tenants, many of these neighbors would probably love to have Charlie Sheen or the "Jersey Shore" gang rocking it out until the sun comes up. Tune in to the premiere of World's Worst Tenants on Tuesday, June 12 at 10:00 PM, ET/PT to see just how bad it can get out there.
