Kate Middleton is set to become a princess tomorrow, but that doesn’t mean she wants to be treated like one. As Kate (and the world) gears up for her wedding, she has opted not to have a professional makeup artist on hand. Instead she’ll do it herself. The future Queen of England has taken several lessons from London makeup artist Arabella Preston. According to People magazine, “Arabella Preston was called in by a mutual friend of hers and Kate's. She's had about three or four lessons with Kate at her private flat in Chelsea and has also gone, very privately, to Clarence House. Arabella was supposed to be coming on the day as well but now she isn't, because Kate's comfortable and confident in doing it herself.” [People]

It seems a lot. [TIME]

Fight Over Limp Bizkit Leads To Murder

According to reports, a male in his early 20s is now on trial in Australia for supposedly beating his own roommate to death because he refused to listen to Limp Bizkit. Yes, Limp Bizkit. The accused, James Madden, was charged with the murder of Emmanuel McPherson back in 2009 after apparently cracking a bottle over his head and literally beating him to death. The Brisbane Times is reporting that the insane drama exploded when McPherson tried to stop Madden from playing an album by the Fred Durst-fronted band on their stereo system. James also allegedly wrapped McPherson’s body in a sheet after he killed him and dumped it in a local creek. A trial is now underway. [RoadRunner]

Jeremy Renner Possibly to Star in Steve McQueen Biopic

It’s being reported that Hurt Locker standout Jeremy Renner is attached to a new screenplay being developed around the life and times of film legend Steve McQueen. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the script will be based on the two McQueen bios Portrait of an American Rebel and The Life and Legend of a Hollywood Icon by Marshall Terrill. In some of the most awesome movie news to hit the Internet recently, Jeremy Renner has been slated to play the central role. No other info has been released. So rad. [THR]
