Brothel: Customers Can Ride It Hard and Save | SPIKE

A struggling brothel in Germany has thought up a novel way to attract customers in a sagging economy and save the environment.

The owner of the Maison d’envie brothel in Berlin has introduced a discount if customers ride a bicycle to their establishment. The reason is both financial and environmental. Owner Thomas Goetz says, “The recession has hit our industry hard. Obviously we hope that the discount will attract more people. It's good for business, it's good for the environment -- and it's good for the girls.” Customers receive a five euro discount ($7 USD) from the usual rate of 70 euro ($98 USD) for a 45-minute session.

Already the scheme is working, and the brothel has seen three to five new customers each day taking up the offer. Traffic in the neighborhood has also improved because of the eco-friendly prostitutes.
