Jack White Unveils a New Supergroup

March 12, 2009

Last evening, musical machine Jack White opened a physical location in Nashville, Tennessee for his Third Man Records label and also debuted his new supergroup called The Dead Weather. This guy never sleeps.

The group consists of The Kills' Alison Mosshart, Jack White, Raconteur Jack Lawrence on bass, and Queens Of The Stone Age's Dean Fertita's on the ole guitar. The group also performed a short set for 150 lucky guests.

Their new LP is entitled Horehound and is set to be released sometime in June. Hit the band’s new website and take a listen to their amazing new single “Hang You From the Heavens” and their b-side cover of Gary Numan's "Are Friends Electric?". Both are very, very good.
