Want to Buy a Blade Runner Blaster?
Rick Deckard’s pistol from Blade Runner is up for auction, so it’s time to break open your piggy bank.
Hopefully your piggy bank is full of rare diamonds or priceless documents hidden in Lincoln’s pocket watch because this little pistol is going to set you back quite a bit. Auctioneers estimate that the blaster gun will go for something between $100,000 and $150,000.
Here’s a description from the auction page:
Only one hero firing weapon was made for the production which was created by mating a Steyr-Mannlicher Model .222 SL receiver on to a Charter Arms .44 police bulldog double-action revolver. It features custom amber grips, dual triggers, and futuristic illuminating LEDs (four red and two green) that can be activated by a small switch mounted beneath the barrel.
