The Top 12 Worst Celebrity Outbursts

Being famous is not an excuse for yelling, screaming, or behaving badly. It is totally unprofessional to hurl a tirade of abuse at someone because they annoyed you or made a mistake. These celebrities are little babies, throwing big fat temper tantrums because they didn’t get their way.

12. Tyra Banks Screams at Contestant

In the fourth season of America’s Next Top Model, Tyra Banks launched into a fiery tirade at a contestant who she thought was not taking the reality show seriously. Banks yelled at 22-year-old single mother Tiffani, telling her she needed to take responsibility for herself. Banks then launched into a strangely personal screaming fit, yelling "I have never in my life yelled at a girl like this. When my mother yells like this it's because she loves me. I was rooting for you, we were all rooting for you! How dare you! Learn something from this!” This is how to dish up a serving of tough love.

11. Orson Welles' Wobbly Commercial

In the late 1960s, Orson Welles was down on his luck and in need of a paycheck. To pay the rent he did voiceover work for a series of frozen food commercials.  The incredible actor/filmmaker found himself selling frozen peas, fish fingers and beef burger. He obviously thought it was beneath him and had little time for the director and producer of the spots. He complained about the script and the direction he was given. At one point he says, "Come on, fellas, you're losing your heads! I wouldn't direct any living actor like this in Shakespeare.” At the conclusion of the clip, Welles supposedly storms out.

10. Kanye West's Award Show Freak Out

Kanye West is a troubled man. He’s constantly lashing out at the media and fans. He loves attention and will do anything to obtain it. In 2007, he crashed the stage of the MTV Europe Music Awards after failing to win Music Video of the Year. He blurted out that he should have won the award because his music video for "Touch The Sky" cost a million dollars, had Pamela Anderson in it, and that he had jumped across canyons in the video. He concluded, "If I don't win, the awards show loses credibility." The only one who lost credibility was Kanye.

9. Naomi Campbell's Air Rage

Naomi Campbell may be one of the world’s most beautiful women, but she has an extremely ugly temper. She has a long history of abusing staff and lashing out. In early 2008, Campbell boarded a plane bound for Los Angeles. Before take-off, she was informed that one her bags would not make the flight. This infuriated Campbell, who screamed "You are joking? This is a joke, right? Why can't you do anything right? Get all my bags on this flight. I am Naomi Campbell." As officers arrested her, she called them “as**holes” and spat at them. Passengers on the plane said she was “crazed and psychotic.” If you see this crazy b**ch, run!

8. Casey Kasem's Uptempo Tantrum

Casey Kasem’s soothing voice has been heard on the radio for years. The radio legend is considered a gentleman, except when delivering a long distance dedication for a dead dog. In an audio clip that never went to air, Kasem is heard berating the show’s writers and producers for creating a poor segue. Kasem was upset that he’d have to go from an uptempo pop song to a sad dedication for a beloved dog named Snuggles. He swore, kicked up a stink and was not a happy man.

In June 2005, Russell Crowe was arrested for throwing a telephone at a hotel employee. Crowe became enraged after being unable to call his wife in Australia. He stormed down to the lobby of the Mercer Hotel in New York City and launched the phone. The phone hit the concierge in the face, causing lacerations. Crowe was charged with second-degree assault. He later pleaded guilty to a lesser charge and was ordered to pay a $160 fine.
