As the intensity continues to build up en route to UFC 111, Spike turns up the heat this Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET with a special edition of UFC Unleashed, right before the third and final episode of UFC Primetime: St. Pierre vs. Hardy.
Featured on this special edition of Unleashed will be four action-packed fights, never before seen on television, including from Saturday night’s UFC on Versus card at the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colo.
In one of the featured fights, longtime UFC fan favorite Clay “the Carpenter” Guida looks to rebound from a two-fight losing streak and push his UFC record back over .500 as he takes on fight-finishing phenom Shannon Gugerty, who has ended all 12 of his professional wins before the final bell. Also featured will be The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights runner-up Brandon “The Hybrid” Schaub making his first appearance in the Octagon since his loss to Roy Nelson in the season finale as he takes on Chase Gormley.
In other action, UFC fans will get a look at German lightweight Dennis Siver, who is slated to take on TUF 9 lightweight winner Ross “the Real Deal” Pearson at UFN 21: Florian vs. Gomi. Siver’s UFC 105 battle with Paul “Tellys” Kelly will show just what Pearson will have to contend with LIVE on Spike on March 31. In addition, this special edition of Unleashed will feature Jeremy “Lil’ Heathen” Stephens – who’s set to take on Sam “Hands of Stone” Stout on May 8 at UFC 113 – in his bloody UFC Fight Night battle with Justin Buchholz.
With “The Hybrid,” “the Carpenter,” and “Lil’ Heathen” all in action, this is one UFC Unleashed you won’t want to miss!
