Michael Bay Slams Megan Fox
Megan Fox knows she's hot and doesn’t have a great deal of acting abilities. She recently said in an interview that working on Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen did not offer up many acting opportunities as it was primarily an effects-driven film. Michael Bay did not take kindly to this criticism. Bay blasted Fox in a recent interview with The Wall Street Journal, saying, “Well, that’s Megan Fox for you. She says some very ridiculous things because she’s 23 years old and she still has a lot of growing to do. You roll your eyes when you see statements like that and think, 'Okay Megan, you can do whatever you want. I got it.'” Ouch! [WSJ]

Resident Evil 4 Is a Reality
They say you can’t get too much of a good thing, but in Hollywood usually it’s pretty dang easy to get waaaay too much of a bad thing. Sony has announced that it’s preparing a fourth Resident Evil movie to be released September 17th, 2010. Who exactly the fan base is for this franchise at this point is anyone’s guess, and why a fourth film would be needed in a franchise that has yet to produce one good film is beyond anyone’s rational faculties to fathom. But fans of the franchise -- if any are left -- will rejoice at this news. Let’s just hope Paul W.S. Anderson (not to be mistaken with Paul Thomas Anderson, the much more talented Anderson of the two) doesn’t direct the film. He’s writing it, so it’s likely he’ll direct. [Shock Till You Drop]

Rihanna Being Investigated For Illegal Tattooing
Rihanna may not have realized when she tattooed a few of the tattoo artists at East Side Ink in New York on Wednesday night that what she was doing was illegal. The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene confirmed to MTV News that someone has been sent to the tattoo parlor to investigate the incident. In a statement, the department said, "Only licensed tattoo artists can administer tattoos in the city according to the City's Health Code. We are sending someone to follow up on this." TMZ reported that if the department decides to press charges against the pop star for tattooing someone without a license, she could face three misdemeanors for the offense. And each offense has its penalty with as much as $300 for the first offense, $500 for the second, and $1,000 for the third offense. Additionally, sources told the website that in addition to Rihanna, East Side Ink could be facing fines as well if an investigation is opened. [MTV]
The 10 Biggest Fantasy Baseball Sluts This Year
What is a fantasy baseball slut? It's one of those players that, like their female counterparts, just likes to get around. The go from team to team whenever they feel like it and don't even bother with a follow-up phone call. Those bastards. Well, according to our good friends over at Uncoached, these guys are pretty much uncoachable, so you've been warned. [Uncoached]
Microsoft Claims More Xbox Live Ads Will "Enchance the User Experience"
Following the revelation yesterday that the company would later this year be placing advertisements on Xbox Live, Microsoft have moved to assure users that the ads will "enhance, not interfere" with their experience. Posting on his blog, Microsoft's Larry Hryb has said: "I need to let you know that you don't need to worry about a huge influx of ads across the dashboard. One of our core principles is to enhance, not interfere with the gaming experience, and we work directly with our partners to only deliver experiences that are relevant to the LIVE community. Silverlight will help make those ads a more organic part of the dashboard, like we've done with some of the NXE slots in the past. No one on the team wants to turn the dashboard into something that looks like like Shibuya Crossing. That's just not good for anyone." Really makes you wonder why we're paying fifty bucks a year for XBL. Greed, FTW! [Major Nelson]
Study Finds Majority of Traffic Fatalities Due to Poor Road Conditions
What would you think to be the leading contributor to fatalities in car crashes here in the United States? Failure to use seat belts? Speeding? Drunk driving? Think again. According to a new study commissioned by Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation (PIRE), the leading cause of highway fatalities is deficient road conditions. In fact, the study asserts, with a roadway-related crash occurring every minute on American streets, inadequate roadway infrastructure is responsible for the majority of highway fatalities in the United States and over a third of injuries incurred in non-fatal crashes as well. Don't we pay taxes so this kind of B.S. gets fixed? [Pire]
