LG's 3D Glasses Aim to Be Lighter, Cooler Looking

LG's 3D Glasses Aim to Be Less Heavier, Uglier

Home 3D television technology hasn't made the leaps and bounds that many in the industry hoped it would, but one area that is seriously lacking are the glasses. Sure they allow you to watch big screen movies in theater quality from the comfort of your favorite chair, but the glasses are bulky, cumbersome and could make George Clooney look like a poindexter.

The 3DTV glasses come in three styles including one that fits over a wire framed set of glasses for viewers who need them to fully enjoy their 3D-HD experience. One set was also designed by Alain Mikli, the same designer who made Kanye West's famous "shutter shades".

LG will bring their new line of 3D glasses to next year's CES in Las Vegas so you can see how your ugly mug looks behind them before they hit the store shelves.

With all the new electronics and gadgets CES 2012 in Las Vegas is going to be absolutely phenomenal. Best part? As the official broadcaster of the entire event, SPIKE is going to give viewers at home an All Access pass to see what goes behind the closed doors of CES 2012: exclusives, celebrities, special guests, and surprises that you won't find anywhere else - and it all starts on January 10.
