New Photos from Inglourious Basterds

Several new photos from Quentin Tarantino’s new film Inglourious Basterds have hit the web. They show us portraits of a couple of the characters from the film, thus stoking our need to see this epic of World War II Nazi-hunting goodness. A lot is riding on this film, as Tarantino tends to take lengthy breaks between movies. If Brad Pitt is half as bad ass a Nazi killin’ fool as he is in these photos, he should have a successful batch of awesomeness on his hands. [Vanity Fair]

Tesla Model S Gets Over 500 Reservations in First Week

It's been barely a week since the curtain was lifted on the Tesla Model S, and not only has its design received positive reviews, those sensuous lines have seduced 520 people to fork over some deposit cash for the new all-electric sedan. Tesla won't say, however, how many people chose the standard version that requires a refundable deposit of $5,000 or one of the 2,000 Signature Edition models that requires a $40,000 deposit. Initial sales of the Model S have exceeded Tesla's expectations and are quite a feat considering the economic times, plus the fact that these cars are still a few years away from being delivered. PS3 Gets Firmware Update

Sony has rolled out a firmware updated for the Playstation 3.  In this iteration (version 2.70) there are only two updates of note.  The first is a chat feature which allows players to chat in a room with up to 15 other players while in-game.  The second feature is portability for any videos purchased on the Playstation Network. Previously, those videos had to be watched on your PS3, now they can be transferred to an external HDD. [Gizmodo]
