"He's Tying His Shoe in the Middle of the Play!"

December 7, 2009

At some point during an irrelevant game between my beloved Toronto Raptors and a Chicago Bulls team that still uses the marketing slogan “Remember Michael Jordan? Well, He Comes to our Games Sometimes,” one crafty player north of the border decided to humiliate a struggling franchise and teach a valuable lesson about safety with one single act.

Jarrett Jack, who’s played for three teams over his illustrious five NBA seasons, realized his shoe was untied in the middle of the game.

So, just like any player with zero respect for the opposing defense, Jack decided to bend over and tie his shoelace as the entire Bulls roster stood dumbfounded while making zero attempt to take advantage of the situation.
