The Girls of Hooters Make a 9/11 Video Tribute

September 12, 2011

As we all know, yesterday was the tenth anniversary of 9/11. It was a traumatic time for America, and we took an appropriate moment to honor those who have fallen and those who fight for our freedom still. That includes, apparently, the Hooters girls.

No, really. They made a tribute video and everything.

We're kind of torn, because this is obviously sincere and they meant well; it's not like Hooters would have lost business for not putting out a video about 9/11. And a lot of work went into this: this features clips of Hooters employees, all across the country, speaking to our servicemen and emergency workers and thanking them for their service.

On the other hand, it's a little bizarre to see “Hooters Remembers” and see a bunch of women in tight shirts and orange shorts talking about this. On the other hand, maybe Face the Nation could take a tip from the ladies of Hooters...
