As a young lad, I fondly remember days spent jumping gaps and staircases at the high school on the ‘ol GT Interceptor. For a host of reasons, BMXing faded to the peripheral of the sporting world for a while, but now it’s back with a vengeance. Here’s why.

ESPN reassess the factors that suddenly came together to make BMX viable again, and reminds us that catching air is in fact, pretty rad. From big-name sponsors jumping on board to Olympic sport status, BMXing is quickly becoming the real deal again.
