Eva Mendes' Banned Secret Obsession
Calvin Klein’s new perfume campaign featuring a sexy Eva Mendes rolling around naked on a bed has been banned by US television networks for being too racy. The sexy spot for Secret Obsession perfume was pulled because it contains a brief glimpse of Eva’s nipple.
The Ad’s creative director is fuming and told WWD:
You must be kidding me. This country really needs a new President — this country is so messed up… She is being a little sexy, but they are not provocative. They are really well done. The spot is really beautiful — I really can’t believe this is happening.…I don’t know what else to say.
Calvin Klein is re-editing the spot so that it can air it on Television after 9pm. The racier, uncut version will be featured on their website.
