Victoria Beckham named World's Most Glamorous

A new poll has named former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham as the World’s Most Glamorous Person. The wife of soccer player David Beckham beat out British television host Dannii Minogue (sister of singer Kylie Minogue) and Angelina Jolie. A spokesman for Max Factor said, “Victoria Beckham has been gracing the fashion pages for years now with her glamorous looks and she has designed her own clothes range. She never leaves home without being fully made up and her signature glossy pout has become her calling card. Her simple tailored clothes, along with her love of heels and elegant make-up, have made her a fashion icon and queen of glamour.” Sounds like she deserves it. [Digital Spy]

Chaz Bono is Officially a Dude

Cher’s eldest child Chaz has officially changed her sex and legally become a man. Today a judge in Santa Monica, California granted Chaz’s petition for a gender and name change. According to documents filed at the court, Chaz underwent an "irreversible surgery" on September 23, 2009 to change her "sex characteristics from female to male." Chaz’s doctor said he has “completed his gender reassignment surgery." [TMZ]

Gucci Mane to Get Early Release From Prison

Gucci Mane will be released next Wednesday after serving six months of his one-year sentence at the Fulton County jail in Atlanta. Gucci, born Radric Davis, was incarcerated last November and sentenced to 12 months in jail after violating terms of his probation for a 2005 assault conviction. Gucci's legal problems will be far from over, though, because he and his business partners are currently dealing with two separate lawsuits over concert no-shows. [Starpulse]

Basketball Star Blames Satan for his Rape Accusation

Oklahoma State basketball player Matt Pilgrim is the newest athlete to garner a sexual assault accusation this week in the world of sports. The story has turned into a clichéd, he-said-she-said battle that will inevitably lead to lives being ruined. The uncommon wrench in the case, however, is the involvement of the dark arts. "Satan is working overtime on me," Pilgrim said on his Facebook account (because using status updates as legal defenses is always a can't-miss idea). was unavailable to reach Satan for comment, but it will be interesting to hear what the Lord of the Underworld has to say when he's subpoenaed for the trial. Vintage Bugatti Becomes the Most Expensive Car in the World

Last week the Mullin Automotive Museum purchased a 1936 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic from Dr. Peter Williamson's estate for between $30M and $40M, making it the most expensive car ever sold. This makes our prospects of ownership ever-more-depressingly dim. According to The Wall Street Journal, the 57SC Atlantic was based on the Aerolithe Electron Coupe design, a show car built for the 1935 Paris Auto Salon. Leslie Kendall, curator of the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, told the WSJ that the classic car had "everything" going for it. But for our 30 million bucks, the thing better fly or make hot wings on command. Or both. [TG Daily]

No iPhone for Verizon This Year, Says Insider

Sorry, Verizon users. If you wanted the new "iPhone 4.0" this year, you better start looking around in beer gardens. According to BroadPoint AmTech analyst Brian Marshall, AT&T has extended its exclusive deal thanks to their bargaining with the iPad: "AT&T had to do something dramatic to get the iPad." [AT&T's negotiated a 50% discount on iPad data plans with Apple] For that pricing, AT&T was able to negotiate a six-month extension on the iPhone exclusive. Before this, Marshall said that Verizon would get the iPhone in 2010. Now he says that a Verizon iPhone won't happen until 2011. Cue the sad trombone. [Computer World]
