Everybody's Jumping Off the Eiffel Tower in Roller Skates These Days

June 3, 2010

When Chuck Norris built the Eiffel Tower in the early 1980s, it was pretty obvious that he intended for somebody to throw themselves off of it while wearing roller skates. One man, Taig Khris, rose to the challenge over the weekend.

The French daredevil attempted to break a world record by free-falling 41 feet from the top of the tower.

Did he make it? Did he die in a fiery roller skating crash? Was there an American who was unable to perform the task so he asked his Parisian buddy to cover for him?

The answers to all these questions lie in the clip.
