What's up my BroMans? This week I was in Japan for a huge Wrestle-1/TNA joint Pay-Per-View, and I am proud to say that Jessie Godderz and myself are now two time TNA tag champs. We beat the Wolves at Sumo Hall in Tokyo! Going far from home isn't easy as far as living arrangements are concerned. Here are some of the differences I had to get used to in #Brokyo.
1 - Gym - I hit up a Gold's Gym in Tokyo and had to bring a change of shoes, bro? That's right. I wasn't allowed to work out in the shoes I wore to the gym, and when in the locker room you aren't allowed to have shoes on at all. It's weird, bro!
2 - Tan - The tanning beds in Japan are weak!! No wonder why no one in Japan has color like me. That bed did nothing and I tried for an hour, bro!
3 - Noodles - Carbs, carbs and more carbs. Noodles are everywhere for every meal and for a snack. Where's the brotein? Needless to say, this was not good!!!!
4 - Supplements – It was hard for me to buy supplements at the health food store since I don't read Japanese, and neither does Jessie! We tried and then somehow ended up getting kicked out of the store! Boom! Maybe next time we'll bring Curry Man to translate for us.
5 - Comfort - The beds are small and stiff, so with that and the time change I was definitely not rested well. But well enough, because me and JG dropped those Wolves and came back with the gold, bro.
All in all regaining the titles was still a huge deal and made the trip more than worth it! Can't wait to go back!
