Nude Goddesses Make This Year's Pirelli Calendar Awesome
The 2011 edition of the world’s most exclusive and prestigious girly calendar has been launched and it’s classier than ever.
The 38th edition of the famed and impossible-to-get Pirelli calendar was launched Wednesday in Moscow. This year’s photographs were shot by fashion legend Karl Lagerfeld. The 2011 calendar is a departure from last year's soft-core spread by fashion photographer Terry Richardson. There are still plenty of breasts, but they are decidedly classier breasts.
Lagerfeld created a Greek-themed "Mythology" calendar with 36 black-and-white photos depicting Greek gods, heroes, and myths. The calendar features 15 women, five men, and the actress Julianne Moore, all in various stages of undress.
The trade calendar is published by the tire company as gift for important Pirelli customers and VIPs. It is famous for its limited availability and exclusivity.
