New York, NY, May 5, 2016 - Spike is pleased to announce that award-winning and critically acclaimed television and film director Adam Bernstein has joined Spike’s 10 part one-hour miniseries “The Mist”, as Director and Executive Producer. Bernstein’s celebrated 15 year career has included direction work on “Fargo”, “30 Rock,” and “Scrubs”. He has also amassed credits on hit programs “Better Call Saul”, “Breaking Bad”, “Californication”, “Shameless”, “Bored to Death”, “Oz”, “Homicide: Life on the Street”, “Entourage”, and “The Adventures of Pete and Pete”.

In addition to his television credits, Bernstein has a wealth of culturally important music videos to his name, among them the B-52s “Love Shack”, the Beastie Boys’ “Hey Ladies”, and Sir Mix-A-Lot’s “Baby Got Back”.

Bernstein joins previously announced Executive Producer Christian Thorpe on the project. Thorpe has developed programming for both Showtime and AMC.

“The Mist”, which is based on a Stephen King novella of the same name, tells a harrowing story about a seemingly innocuous mist that seeps into a small town and causes chaos. The series will begin production this summer with an anticipated airdate of 2017 on Spike.
