Mercedes SLR McLaren Roadster 722 S Ready to Overwhelm Senses
The guys at Daimler have just dropped the deets on the new, extremely fast, extremely crazy looking, extremely exclusive 722 S.
Limited to a production run of just 150 cars, the new 722 S is packing 650 prancing ponies in a supercharged version of the 5.5 liter V8 (used in the regular 722), and lays down the law of physics with 627 lb-ft of torque.
That amount of power translates to a zero to 62 MPH time of 3.7 seconds, while 124 MPH comes in just 10.6 seconds. The 722 S tops out at 208 MPH.
