Bale Told McG to F Off

When first approached by director McG about with the Terminator Salvation project, Christian Bale -- according to McG -- told him to "F%$# off." Those are pretty strong words coming from the burly dude who plays Batman. Strong words indeed. But McG wasn't taking "no" for an answer and came back to Bale with a new script rewritten by Jonathan Nolan, co-writer of The Dark Knight.

Thanks to McG's stick-with-itness we will have a new Terminator blockbuster to wow us this summer, right next to Michael Bay's sequel to Transformers. Will both blow up, or will one robot-laden movie outdo the other? Either way, it's probably a good thing McG managed to entice Bale to sign up, or we might have the likes of Nick Stahl as John Connor again. Yikes!
