The Eliot Spitzer hooker scandal just won’t go away. Last week Hustler released a porno spoof based on the scandal and this week the call girl at the center of it all is back in the headlines.
Ashley Alexandra Dupre (also known by her call girl name Kristen) filed suit against Girls Gone Wild seeking more than $10 million in damages for exploiting “her name and image for profit”. You may remember that just after the scandal broke, Girls Gone Wild hit pay dirt after it discovered that Ashley had ‘starred’ in several of their videos. Girls Gone Wild then proceeded to do what they do best - exploit the situation. Ashley is fighting back.
According to People:
Dupré alleges that Girls Gone Wild representatives approached her while she was vacationing in Florida in 2003, offered her alcohol and cajoled her into exposing her breasts for their cameras when she was just 17 (and not of proper legal age to sign a release form allowing her to be filmed).
I hope this girl gets paid. It is totally un-American to be at the centre of a scandal and not make out like a bandit. Word has it she’s having trouble getting any work, is practically broke and the best offer she’s had is to work as a legal hooker at Nevada’s famed Bunny Ranch.
I figure poor Ashley probably needs a laugh, so I’m dedicating these Girls Gone Wild spoofs to her. They’re hilarious, and the only thing they exploit is your funny bone.
