Bluetooth Controlled Android Robot is Our New Favorite Geek Mascot

bybradiger   June 21, 2010 at 6:04PM  |  Views:  |  Comment

Google's Android robot logo has been brought to life two diehard Android fanatics. Considering the level of awesome this DIY build embodies, Google should probably consider putting these guys on the payroll. The hardware was built by Reo Matsumura and Hideyuki Takei was behind the software, which sends the commands to the robot from an Android phone over Bluetooth. Check out the video below, and if you can't get enough of this little 'bot, you can download hi-res images of it nommin' on a biscuit on Flickr as well.

That's a pretty freakin' adorable robot, if we do say so ourselves. And we do.
