Take a Mental Picture

June 25, 2008

The title of this blog becomes a little more plausible with this new concept camera from German designer Akbiyik Volkan.  It works more intuitively than his name reads, don’t worry.

The Camoria, as it’s called, is an ear-mounted digital camera that fires off shots on its own when it senses heightened emotion in your ear.

It does this by using sensors where the Bluetooth-like devices touches your skin, it presumably measures one's body temperature and heart rate to gauge how excited, angry, in love, etc. one is.  Then, when emotions run high, Camoria clicks a shot off for your later review.

There's no review or delete functions.  It also presumably takes a lovely shot of your cheek or beard along with whatever is inciting your excitement.
