UFC Fight Night Live returns to Spike April 2nd at 7pm for a three hour event. Taking the title match are Kenny Florian and Joe Lauzon.
Florian is a veteran of The Ultimate Fighter series having lost the middleweight final to Diego Sanchez in the first season. "Ken-Flo's" background in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai make him a force to be reckoned with both on his feet and on the ground.
With his dangerous elbow strikes Kenny Florian may be the one to give Joe Lauzon his first taste of defeat within the Octagon.
Also a former participant of The Ultimate Fighter, Joe Lauzon is looking to keep his perfect UFC record against Florian, an arguably more experience fighter. To that end, Lauzon has been training daily with B.J. Penn, a man who remains Florian's equal on his feet, his master on the ground.
Needless to say, the Florian/Lauzon bout promises to be a strong one.And with names like Thiago Alves, Nate Diaz, and Matt Hamill fillingout the title card, Spike's live and free three hour event will makefor one hell of a night.
