Star Wars Celebrates 30th Anniversary
Thirty years ago The Empire Strikes Back was released to theaters and at this milestone, a celebration is in order! That is why Spike will be throwing a party on air and in Times Square.
Along with a Star Wars movie marathon kicking off this Saturday, May 22 at 1PM ET, Spike is inviting its viewers and the trilogy's loyal fans to view a special simulcast of The Empire Strikes Back the same day at 4:00 PM ET on MTV's 44 1/2 foot video board.
Starting today and continuing throughout the week, you can also catch Star Wars anniversary-themed trailers on Spike and Spike.com/starwars. Get more information on the Star Wars bash so you don't have to miss any of the celebration.
