Roman Centurion vs Persian Immortal
BEGINNING ASSESSMENT: Rome's leader of one-hundred men that took over the West, a Centurion, comes to a bloody fight with Persia's leaders and best fighter of the East, an Immortal.
SHORT RANGE: Dolabra Axe.
SHORT RANGE 2: Gladius Sword.
MEDIUM RANGE: Hasta Spear.
LONG RANGE: Pilum Javelin.
SHIELD: Roman Scutum.
ARMOR: Chainmail and Brass.
SHORT RANGE: Sagaris Axe.
SHORT RANGE 2: Kopis Sword.
MEDIUM RANGE: Persian Spear.
LONG RANGE: Bow & Arrow.
SHIELD: Persian Wicker.
DOLABRA vs SAGARIS. EDGE = EVEN!
Both Axes are similar in design and shape, and about the same length. This would leave each other with Axes that they are pretty used to.
GLADIUS vs KOPIS. EDGE = KOPIS.
The Kopis has greater slashing power where the Gladius relies mainly on stabbing or thrusting.
HASTA SPEAR vs PERSIAN SPEAR. EDGE = HASTA.
The Hasta, like any other spear, has a head, but instead of having a crushing ball for the butt side, the Hasta has another spear side.
PILUM vs BOW & ARROW. EDGE = BOW & ARROW.
The Bow shoots arrows at a far longer range, able to kill the enemy much faster then throwing the Javelin.
SCUTUM vs WICKER. EDGE = SCUTUM.
The Scutum is a little larger, has a metal boss in the middle, and is stronger then the Wicker Shield which is weak and shaped very oddly.
CHAINMAIL & BRASS vs SCALES. EDGE = CHAINMAIL & BRASS.
The Chainmail can stop slashes from the Kopis, and the Brass Medals are an extra. The Scales could easily get stabbed by the Gladius or Hasta.
A Persian Immortal is seen walking throughout a dusty plain, that leads into a small town. He looks over at a person holding two spears, an axe, and a large shield. He's identified as a Roman Centurion. The Persian Immortal pulls out his trusty bow and an arrow. He shoots the arrow, but the arrow hits the scutum shield.
The Immortal readies another arrow, but it still hit the scutum. The Centurion runs up, plants one of the spears in the ground and sets the axe down. He throws a pilum, that hit the wicker shield, but went right through. The Immortal yanks out the pilum and pulls out his spear. He battles the hasta spear, and at the right time, the Persian pulls out his kopis and slashes at the chainmail on the Roman.
The Roman also pulls out his gladius and stabs the shoulder of his Persian enemy. He drops the kopis and tries to thrust the spear. It hits the thigh of the Centurion, but retaliates by stabbing his gladius into the Persian's thigh. They both pull the weapons out, and start limping away. They both come back to eachother, holding their axes.
Both the sagaris and the dolabra locked together and both put their muscles into it. Eventually, each of the tips on the axes hit the others arm, and they both dropped the axes. Both enemies are adly injured, but they muscle their strength. Before the Persian was able to reach for his kopis, he sees the Romaan Centurion tower over him, and kills with a stab to the spine, and into the neck.
ROMAN CENTURION: 584.
PERSIAN IMMORTAL: 416.
BOW & ARROW: 85.
ENDING ASSESSMENT: The Centurion's armor was able to protect longer and saved his life 584 times. His main weapon was his Hasta, claiming the most kills.
BEST PERFORMING WEAPON: The Hasta Spear killed 214 times to the Persian Immortal.
LEAST PERFORMING WEAPON: The Pilum Javeiln was only to kill 51 times which wasn't great.
