Spike TV and Zac Levi's Nerd Machine announced today a joint partnership for the network's All Access Live multi-platform franchise covering the biggest events in gaming, pop culture and technology – Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), Comic-Con, and the Consumer Electronics Show (CES). The partnership begins next month with Spike's "E3 All Access Live featuring Nerd Machine" coverage, in which the network will offer more than 17 hours of multi-platform coverage from the 2012 Electronic Entertainment Expo, and will continue with the network's "Comic-Con All Access Live" special later this summer in San Diego.

"Zac Levi's Nerd Machine was a great part of our 'CES All Access Live' program, so we're excited to expand our relationship further," said Jon Slusser, Senior Vice President, Sports and Multi-platform Programming, Spike TV. "With this partnership, our viewers will get to enjoy the fun and witty perspectives of Nerd Machine as they navigate through E3, Comic Con and beyond."

The All Access Live team will document the Nerd Machine's Zac Levi, David Coleman and Alison Haislip as they provide viewers with entertaining segments highlighting their adventures throughout Spike TV's coverage of the world's biggest cultural events. During E3, Nerd Machine will give fans at home an exclusive look at what it is like to be on location at the video game industry's most-anticipated event of the year with visits to the top press events, the hottest parties and most exciting areas of the E3 show floor.

"The Nerd Machine is here to give fans a front row seat to all the action from E3, Comic Con, and especially our flagship event Nerd HQ this year," said David Coleman, co-founder of the Nerd Machine. "We are thrilled to partner with Spike's 'All Access' specials to help showcase everything we love about the world of gaming and pop culture."

E3 All Access Live will kick-off its multi-platform and multi-channel coverage on Spike TV, in HD, from Los Angeles one day before the event is open to the public on Monday, June 4 (Noon-5:30pm ET/9:00am-2:30pm PT) and a wrap-up special that night at 10:00-11:00pm ET/7:00-8:00pm PT. Spike TV will telecast four more live hours on Tuesday, June 5 (Noon-4:00pm ET/9:00am-1:00pm PT). The live special will also be supported through additional digital pre and post shows as well as through online simulcasts.

As a part of the network's overall "All Access" program offering, Spike's E3 All Access Live will feature gaming exclusives from its state of the art HD studio overlooking the Los Angeles Convention Center. The E3 multi-platform special will unveil exclusives from the biggest event in the gaming industry before any other network with breaking news, live demonstrations, world premiere trailers, in-depth interviews and expert analysis. Spike's 2011 live E3 multi-platform special was the number one destination for E3 coverage last year*, garnering more than 10 million combined online and on-air viewers, and was also the largest live streaming event in Viacom history.

E3 All Access Live will be supported on Spike TV through "GTTV with Geoff Keighley," "All Access Weekly" and "Playbook 360;" online on Spike.com and GameTrailers.com; socially through its Facebook and Twitter feed @SpikeTV; on popular gaming blog, Kotaku; through mobile phones and tablets including iPhone®, iPad™ and Android™ devices, as well as on the big screens in New York City's Times Square. Also, for the first time ever, Spike will partner with sister Viacom Media Networks, including MTV2; MTVU; VH1; Tr3s: Música y Másand others to provide additional programming coverage.
