Brooke Hogan Wants to be a Stripper

Brooke Hogan and her dad Hulk attended the Calle Ocho Latin festival in Miami over the weekend. The reality television star/singer performed at the festival and wanted to show off her sexy moves. Sadly, the 20-year-old performed an awkward, unsexy and completely embarrassing stripper pole dance routine. Yikes. [TMZ]

Natasha Richardson Reportedly Near Death

Liam Neeson’s actress wife Natasha Richardson could be brain dead after a ski accident on Mont Tremblant in Quebec. Contradictory news reports have emerged, though the latest update seems to indicate that the 45-year-old actress is brain dead and being transported back to New York City before she's taken off life support. Here’s hoping the bad news turns out to be incorrect in the next few hours. [WWTDD]

MRI Lie Detector

Traditional lie detectors are not admissible as evidence in the court of law, but all that might change with this very non-traditional lie detector.  Using an MRI scanner doctors measure the oxygen levels in the brain of the person being questioned.  The company, No Lie MRI (really?) claims that the technique is over 90 percent effective, but that it also hasn’t been fully tested. The iPhone Gets Software Updates

Apple is rolling out the iPhone 3.0 operating system and has built in some of the most requested features from the iPhone's many fanboys.  The list of updates is too long and boring to list in its entirety.  All you need to know is that now the iPhone will be getting turn-by-turn navigation, you will be able to copy/paste pictures and text, and you will soon be able to send and receive pictures and video messages.  You can sign up for the beta now, if you’re brave. New Motley Crue Tour Dates

Motley Crue has announced their new tour (really, a continuation of the one they’re already on), and they're cleverly calling it Crue Fest 2.  They arrived at the announcement press conference in their classic ambulance with two sexy, scenester nurses to say “When the economy goes to shit, entertainment is the one steady,” adds bassist Nikki Sixx. “That and alcohol.”  Rock and Roll.  Check out the tour dates on their site. Hyundai Genesis Coupe Base Model Output Significantly Higher than Official Specs

Good news for budget speed freaks: the Hyundai Genesis Coupe base model, with its turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder, officially has 210 HP and 223 lb-ft of torque at the flywheel, but Edmunds got it on the dyno and discovered 227 lb-ft at the wheels! Edmunds also found that you get roughly about 7% more horsepower and a whopping 17% more torque than Hyundai states, putting the base model even further into sporty territory. In this day and age, it's always refreshing to get more than you expected. [Edmunds]
