Train Set in a Briefcase for Serious Children

byReverend_Danger   May 06, 2009 at 6:54PM  |  Views:  |  Comment

When you’re traveling, sometimes it’s hard to get your model train fix.  Or, rather, it used to be.

Train sets can be fun, but they can also be serious business. Such is the case with the briefcase train set.  Known as the Blumenau, it is a “high-quality, ready assembled summer landscape and pictured background.” Can you imagine just whipping this thing out on a flight from L.A. to N.Y. and letting that sucker run?  I can.  It’s glorious.

It’s powered by an integrated 9 volt battery and has a throttle control built into the lower edge of the set.  Get it from Paul Smith for the well-worth-it price of £ 1,000.00.
