Kanye West’s Girlfriend Gets Topless on the Beach
Kanye West and his girlfriend Amber Rose hit Miami Beach recently, but Ye’s lady totally stole the show with her unreal physical curves. After showing off her dental floss-like string bikini, Rose then stripped off her top and showed the world what Kanye is lucky enough to have each and every day of his celebrity life. I can’t believe I am this jealous of Kanye West. Hit the link to check out the NSFW pics. [Egotastic]
IMDb Announces Their Top Rated Films of the New Millennium
The people over at IMDb have compiled a list of the Top Rated Films of the New Millennium, looking at the 15 films made since 2000 that their users have rated as the best of the past 10 years. It’s easy to guess some of the choices in the top 5, but there are most definitely a few curve balls that made the cut. The internet has spoken! [IMDb]
Thousands Sign on to Help Break Thriller Record on MJ's Birthday
Thousands of Michael Jackson followers are set to gather in Mexico City on his 51st birthday for a record-breaking dance-off to the 1982 pop landmark Thriller. Over 10,000 people have signed on to pay their respects to Jackson by trying to break the record for most people to dance to the track simultaneously in one place. The group will be led by a Michael Jackson impersonator. The record is currently held by a group of 242 students at Virginia's College of William & Mary, who performed the routine back in May. The World's 20 Sexiest Nerds
A beautiful woman may look good in a bikini, but it takes a special type of girl to pull off "sexy" while wearing glasses or a Star Wars t-shirt. Okay, so maybe geeks don't have the highest standards, but that doesn't mean you won't be impressed by this cavalcade of dork-friendly hotties linked up by our pals at Just a Guy Thing. Batman: Arkham Asylum Video Game is Almost Here!
Source: Eidos/Warner Bros/DC
Eidos' comic book-inspired Batman: Arkham Asylum video game follows the caped crusader as he takes on the Joker and other supervillains at the classic Gotham madhouse. Impossible as it may seem, early buzz about this game floating around the internet has been off the charts. The game, which will be playable for the Playstation 3, Microsoft Windows, and the Xbox 360, is shaping up to be the best Batman game experience since 1994’s The Adventures of Batman and Robin for the SNES. Even though avid Batman gamers from years past are probably a little skeptical about another disappointing release from the franchise, this will be the one that is going to reinvigorate the Bat and silence all doubters. Batman: Arkham Asylum drops in stores on August 25th. [Amazon]

Black Eyed Peas, Jason Mraz Destroy Hot 100 Records
The Black Eyed Peas' current 20-week streak atop the Hot 100 surpasses Usher's run of 19 consecutive weeks achieved back in 2004 with "Yeah!" and "Burn." This marks the longest successive stay at Number 1 in the Hot 100's 51-year history. Jason Mraz’s single “I’m Yours’” overtook the weeks-on-chart mark held for nearly 11 years by LeAnn Rimes' signature hit "How Do I Live." That song spent 69 weeks on the Hot 100. Multi-format airplay is one of the reasons for "I'm Yours'" is the only track to reach No. 1 on each of the following four radio-based charts: Mainstream Top 40/Pop Songs, Adult Contemporary, Adult Top 40, and Triple A. It has also appeared on Latin Pop, Smooth Jazz, and debuts this week at Rhythmic. [Billboard]
Study Finds We Have Way More Horsepower in Our Driveways than Our Power Plants
It may not be a particularly glamorous definition of the automobile, but it's true on some level that cars and trucks are little individual power generators on wheels, a fact pointed out by Wired staff writer Alexis Madrigal (assuming the engines are always running flat out). When viewed in that slight dubious light, the United States has quite a bit of over-abundance when it comes to overall latent power availability. In fact, Madrigal calculates that the U.S. has 35 times more horsepower sitting there in our driveways than in all our power plants combined. [Green Tech History]
DirecTV, Broadcom, Cisco and Samsung Have a DVR Plan for You
Broadcom, Cisco, DirecTV, and Samsung announced Monday that they are forming an alliance to develop a specification for a full-featured, "pixel-accurate" Remote User Interface (RUI) that will form the core of a new technology for providing on-demand DVR content. The key component in the equation is a "source device supplied by the content service provider that allows the distribution and management of video and a consistent user experience to one or many thin CE devices." So what's that mean to you? DVR content anywhere and at anytime, essentially. [EngadgetHD]
