It was announced today that Prince has officially joined this year's line-up for the ninth Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio, CA.

The Purple One will headline the main stage on Saturday, April 26th after Portishead and Kraftwerk do their thang. Do you think the people over at Coachella may be a little intimidated by the recent Lollapalooza line-up? Maybe they're having second thoughts about putting Jack Johnson on the roster. Either way, the summer is lookin' really good.
