Lindsay Lohan to be Charged for Stealing Necklace
Lindsay Lohan’s legal woes are set to continue with reports indicating that the troubled actress will be charged tomorrow with felony grand theft for stealing a $2,500 gold necklace.
The Los Angeles District Attorney’s office has announced it will officially charge Lindsay Lohan for stealing a one-of-a-kind gold necklace from a Venice, California jewelry store.
The 24-year-old actress is due to appear in court tomorrow where she'll officially be charged with felony grand theft. The actress is expected to surrender at 1:30pm PT at L.A.’s Airport Superior Court. If convicted of the charges, Lohan could face a maximum of three years in state prison.
Lohan’s lawyers maintain the actress thought the necklace was a loaner and that she had every intention of returning it. They “vehemently deny these allegations” and will “fight them in court.”
