Snooki Crashes

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi has literally had a run-in with police in Italy. The reality television star is currently in Italy with her Jersey Shore castmates filming the third season of their hit realty television show. The pint-sized, self-described “guidette” caused some drama when she drove her car into a police vehicle while driving through the streets of Florence. The irony of this particular fender bender is the police vehicle she crashed into was assigned to protect her and passenger Deena’s personal safety. No one was seriously injured in the accident, though Snooki was later snapped wearing a neck brace. Snooki and Deena were taken to the central police station of Florence to file routine paperwork. She was not arrested. Snooki did have her license immediately suspended and might still have to show up to court over the crash. [Us]

LeAnn Rimes Defends Her Bikini Body

LeAnn Rimes loves showing off her trim and taut body, but don’t you dare say she’s too skinny. The country music singer and occasional actress posted pics of her Memorial Day bikini getup on Twitter and took offense when fan @AJPatterson1987 suggested she might want to put some meat on her bones. The fan in question tweeted, “Whoa, you’re scary skinny! Sorry don’t mean to offend but that’s a lot of bones showing through skin.” LeAnn was indeed offended, and fired back by tweeting, “those are called abs not bones love.” Just to make sure everyone knows she’s healthy, LeAnn added, ““thx but this is my body and I can promise you I’m a healthy girl. I’m just lean. Thx for your concern but no need too be.” Sounds a little like the bikini lady doth protest too much. [WWTDD]
