Everyone’s favorite all-knowing music site Pitchfork.com has officially announced their list of the Top 50 Albums Of 2009, and I’m pretty sure anyone that knows anything about the indie music scene can easily guess what albums landed in the top slots.

As I said with P-Fork’s Top 100 Songs Of 2009, it really would have been nice to see some metal or deeper hip-hop/rap titles take up some room in the top 20. Converge anyone?
