A stunning new contestant makes her way onto American Idol, Boy George is sent to prison, and the 15 best buxom British women...it's the Mantenna!

Hottest American Idol Contestant Ever?

American Idol is back and might be worth tuning into because of one insanely hot contestant, Casey Carlson. The University of Minnesota coed posed in some sexy bikini shots for Campus USA Girls, a website that donates all profits to breast cancer. When she’s not auditioning for America Idol, Casey enjoys studying advertising, drinking tea, and watching reality television. [Campus Girls USA]

Joaquin Phoenix Wants to be a Rapper

Casey Affleck will track the new musical career of Joaquin Phoenix in a new documentary feature. Phoenix is plunging into a new path as a rapper with a debut album to be produced by Sean Combs. Boy George Sentenced to 15 Months in Jail

Boy George was sentenced to 15 months in jail on today after being convicted of falsely imprisoning Norwegian male escort Audun Carlsen by handcuffing him to a wall in a London apartment. British Judge David Radford said the 47-year-old former Culture Club frontman, whose real name is George O’Dowd, was guilty of “gratuitous violence.” Talk about karma. [BBC News]

95% of Music Downloads are Pirated

In 2008, the music business made $3.8 billion.  That amount accounted for only 5% of total downloads.  This isn’t a hard and fast statistic, obviously.  If somebody was tracking all the people downloading pirated material, the RIAA wouldn’t have stopped charging individuals in December. Not that we condone illegal downloads, but now that you don’t have anybody after you for it, and you know that 95% of downloads are illegal anyway, there’s not much to stop you, is there? [Gizmodo]

2010 Ford Taurus SHO to Make Debut in Chicago Auto Show

If there's one good thing that came from the import tuner trend of the early 2000s, it would have to be the rise of the all-wheel drive sport sedans like the Subaru WRX and the Mitsubishi EVO. Fast in a straight line and in the bends, these cars are not only tons of fun to drive, but also extremely versatile. Sadly the Americans really haven't had a proper response to these cars. Looks like that might change with the new Ford Taurus SHO (Super High Output). The car is expected to be mated to Ford's all-wheel drive system and sport a truly beefy twin-turbo EcoBoost V6, good for at least a whopping 350hp while generating excellent gas mileage. Ford's mini-site for the new car declares "Coming in February 2009", which is the same time as the auto show in the Windy City. Coincidence? Probably not. [Autoblog]
