Brooklyn-via-Philadelphia singer Santogold returns with another colorful and creative music video experience. "Lights Out" has Santogold, aka Santi White, sounding like a futuristic Chrissie Hynde in neon clothing.
The video shows studio shots of a zebra-printed Santogold performing with her Ray-Ban-wearing backup singers/dancers and a bow-tied drummer. The background constantly changes from the zebra pattern, to a yellow-and-black checkered theme, a tropical theme, and many others. Santo’s backup dancers also show off their multicolored green screened lips. My only issue here is Santo's dance moves. This chick really needs to take some Reebok Step classes.
