Arnold Schwarzenegger Admits to Fathering Love Child

May 17, 2011
According to an official report from the Los Angeles Times, Arnold Schwarzenegger has openly admitted that he fathered a child out of wedlock nearly 10 years ago with one of the staff members working at his home.

It was reported overnight that Schwarzenegger recently came clean to wife Maria Shriver that he had indeed fathered a child with a woman who worked for his family for over 20 years. "After leaving the governor's office, I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago," Schwarzenegger said in a statement. "I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family. There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I have apologized to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry."

After the news hit the general public, soon-to-be ex-wife Maria Shriver took to the Internet to release her own statement on the dramatic situation. "This is a painful and heartbreaking time," Maria Shriver said. "As a mother, my concern is for the children. I ask for compassion, respect and privacy as my children and I try to rebuild our lives and heal. I will have no further comment."

According to the reports, Schwarzenegger was keeping the love-child a secret when he ran for governor of California back in 2003.

This news shouldn’t be all that surprising due to last week’s announcement that couple would be separating after 25 years of marriage. Just sayin’…
