Images from Marvel Comics' cinematic adaptation of Stan Lee's Thor are on display at Comic-Con and the Main Hall at Odin's palace is already garnering rave reviews.
In the story, Odin (played by Anthony Hopkins) banishes his arrogant son, Thor, to live amongst the mortals on planet earth as punishment for starting a war with Asgard.
Odin's palace, shown above, is lavishly designed with intricate details by film director Kenneth Branagh. The film will be released in 3-D, so it's too early to truly gauge what the set will look like by the time it reaches theaters, but at this point, it appears as if Branagh has spared no detail or expense in recreating Lee's vision of Odin's palace.
And in case you were wondering, there is a picture available of Anthony Hopkins wearing a gold eye patch.
