Jonas Brothers Win Worst Album, Worst Band at NME Awards

February 26, 2009

Kings of Leon, MGMT, Muse, and Oasis were among the big winners at the NME Awards in London last night. Brooklyn dudes MGMT scooped up the Best New Band and Best Track award for "Time To Pretend." Although the highlight of the evening had to be when the Jonas Brothers took home the unwanted Worst Album and Worst Band honors.

Oasis were, of course, given the title Best British Band for the fourth time in the group's career. Another great highlight was when Damon Albarn and Graham Coxon of Blur hit the stage together for the first time in nine years. Alex and Dave also came out a few minutes later to help out.
