"Seriously, My Mom is Not a Prostitute" Claims Newest Dallas Cowboys Star

Prior to the NFL Draft, general managers throughout the league are forced to evaluate top prospects with the meticulous nature of a 40-year-old Ed Hardy shopper before last call at his community center speed dating session. And sometimes, answering yes to the question “does your mother reluctantly sell her body to Canadian tourists?” is a dealbreaker.

The Dallas Cowboys first round draft pick and former Oklahoma State star Dez Bryant had to address the issue when he met with the Miami Dolphins earlier this month.

“No, my mom is not a prostitute,” Bryant explained to a Yahoo! Sports columnist whose mother is also not a hooker. “I got mad – really mad – but I didn’t show it.”

I’m not exactly sure how watching mommy turn tricks makes you less of a threat on offense, but judging by the Dolphins’ run of selecting the single worst receiver in nearly every draft, you have to respect their process.
