Lightweight world champion Michael Chandler puts his title on the line against former Olympian and Season 6 lightweight tournament champion Rick Hawn, plus featherweight champion Pat Curran battles Season 4 featherweight winner Patricio "Pitbull" Freire.

The night also features the Bellator debut of MMA veteran Renato "Babalu" Sobral, who takes on Russian submission specialist Mikhail Zayats in a light heavyweight tournament quarterfinal fight. The University of California's Bren Center in Irvine, CA hosts the event.

"Our Thursday, January 17th premiere on Spike will be an incredible night for MMA fans; two epic world title fights and an amazing collection of tournament fights" said Bellator Chairman & CEO Bjorn Rebney.
