Mickey Rourke Convinces Russian Model to Marry Him | SPIKE

Mickey Rourke is set to get hitched for the third time now that a Russian model 33 years his junior agreed to be his bride.

The 57-year-old actor, who made a stunning career comeback starring in The Wrestler last year, asked 24-year-old model Elena Kuletskaya for her hand in marriage over dinner last week. The couple, who have been dating for “several months,” met earlier in the year.

Kuletskaya reportedly helped Rourke learn Russian for his role as Whiplash in the upcoming Iron Man 2. The two have been inseparable ever since, traipsing around Europe and the U.S. like lovesick puppies. The couple even bought a puppy together, to replace Rourke’s beloved dog Loki who died just before the Oscars.

Rourke is a man in a hurry who reportedly wants to get married ASAP. He’s been learning Russian, bought an engagement ring, and has been seen wining and dining his future mother-in-law. A source says, “They haven't booked a venue or made any solid plans. He just knows he wants to do it in April, and he's been asking what is involved in a traditional Russian wedding ceremony.” Rourke is said to be amazed and stunned that he’s gotten a second chance at life.
