Pamela Anderson is Now a Playboy Poet

December 17, 2010

Pamela Anderson has set the record for the number of Playboy covers. She's also apparently become a poet.

Pamela Anderson dons the cover of the January issue of iconic men’s magazine Playboy. It is her 13th cover and puts her in the record books as the woman with the most Playboy covers of all time. Anderson first appeared on the cover of Playboy in 1989.

The cover image sees Anderson channeling the actress Anita Ekberg's famous scene in the 1960 film La Dolce Vita.  In the film Ekberg “cavorts half-naked in Rome's Trevi Fountain in a slinky black dress, similar to the one Anderson wears.”

Anderson appears in an eight-page nude pictorial which was shot poolside at the Playboy mansion in October. Accompanying the pictorial is some of Anderson’s poetry which urges readers to do good. Pamela writes, “Please let's show the good in us... The brilliance... The wonderful... It's abundant - it's just not tapped as it should be.”

Powerful stuff.
