Boner Found Dead
Andrew Koenig, the actor best known for playing the lovable Boner on Growing Pains, has been found dead.
The Vancouver police have confirmed they discovered the body of the 41-year-old actor in a park. The police released a statement saying, “Vancouver Police are investigating the discovery of a body found in Stanley Park around noon [Thursday]. The body is believed to be that of Andrew Koenig.”
Koenig went missing February 14th in Vancouver. He failed to board a flight back to Los Angeles on February 16th and was reported missing by his parents, Walter and Judith Koenig. Walter Koenig is best known for playing Chekov on the Star Trek television series and films. Andrew Koenig reportedly suffered from depression and recently given away most of his possessions and moved out of his apartment in Venice Beach, California.
UPDATE: Andrew's parents have since confirmed that the actor took his own life.
