2009 MTV Video Music Award Nominees Announced

A list of the 2009 MTV Video Music Award nominees has been officially announced and it’s really not all that surprising who made the cut in some of the biggest categories.
Beyoncé and Lady Gaga lead with 9 nominations each, Britney Spears nabbed 7, and Mr. Kanye West, Eminem, and Coldplay scooped up 4 possible Moonmen captures. The pop culture extravaganza airs live on Septmber 13th from New York City with returning Brit host Russell Brand. Taylor Swift, Pink, Green Day, and Muse are also set to perform.
